Delatr is proud to announce that we have joined the North West Regional Defence and Security Cluster.
This is an important step for us as we continue building Delatr into a serious defence technology company focused on secure communications for unmanned and autonomous systems.
The North West has a growing defence and security ecosystem, bringing together industry, academia, government, research organisations and emerging technology companies. For Delatr, joining that network is about more than visibility. It gives us a stronger platform to collaborate, learn, test ideas, and build partnerships with organisations working on the same operational challenges.
Our work is focused on one of the hardest problems in modern defence: keeping command-and-control links secure, authenticated and resilient when the spectrum is contested.
As unmanned systems become more important across defence, security and critical infrastructure, the communication layer becomes mission-critical. If the link can be jammed, spoofed, replayed or harvested for future decryption, the platform becomes a liability. Delatr is building technology to address that problem from the ground up, with quantum-safe and anti-jam communications designed for real-world deployment.
Joining the NWRDSC places us inside a regional network that understands the urgency of defence innovation and the need to move promising technology closer to operational use.
We are looking forward to contributing to the cluster, working with partners across the North West, and helping strengthen the UK’s defence and security capability.
