Delatr Technologies is pleased to announce a new partnership with SPRTK, a Switzerland-based UAV engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the development, prototyping and production of custom unmanned aircraft.
The partnership will support the integration and deployment of Lineage, Delatr’s counter-jamming and post-quantum secure communications solution, across UAV platforms designed for critical civil operations.
SPRTK develops unmanned systems for a range of demanding applications, with capabilities spanning multirotor, fixed-wing and VTOL platforms, as well as full-scale prototyping and manufacturing. Its experience in building UAVs for inspection, long-range operations, heavy payloads and autonomous missions makes it a strong integration partner as resilient communications become increasingly important within civil drone operations.
Securing Critical Civil Drone Operations
As drones become more widely used by police forces, emergency services, border agencies and other public-sector organisations, maintaining reliable and secure command-and-control links becomes increasingly important.
Lineage is designed to strengthen those links by providing a lightweight security layer between the UAV’s radio and flight controller. The architecture protects command traffic, improves resilience when communications are degraded, and uses isolated single-use key material to limit the impact of platform compromise.
Unlike conventional approaches that can require replacing existing radios or significantly redesigning a platform, Lineage is designed to integrate with existing UAV architectures while preserving current operator workflows.
Through the partnership with SPRTK, Delatr aims to make these capabilities available to a broader range of civil UAV operators, particularly organisations working in environments where communications integrity, operational continuity and cybersecurity are mission-critical.
The collaboration represents another step toward making resilient, quantum-secure communications a practical component of the next generation of unmanned systems.
